Hello, I'm Firechick and I'm new here. I only speak English (no Greek) so I apologize if you don't understand what I'm saying. I'm just your average anime fan. Nice to meet you all. But I have another reason for coming here. I hear this anime subbing group subs anime in both English and Greek. I happen to know of a very good yet totally underappreciated anime that takes place in a Greek setting and is very good, though many don't agree with me. Here it is.

This anime is called Porfy no Nagai Tabi, aka Porphy's Long Journey. It's about two young twins in a Greek town named Simitra who live normal but happy lives with their parents until a terrible earthquake kills their family. But instead of going to a new home, the boy named Porfy decides to travel all over Europe. I've only seen 5 episodes of this, but I think it's very very good. This anime is part of an anime anthology called the World Masterpiece Theater which specializes in making anime based on 19th-20th century children's literature (like Anne of Green Gables, Little Princess Sara, Little Women, Pollyanna, etc.), which are VERY good (and very slow paced anime) but totally underappreciated by the anime otaku world. This one is no different. One group called Seiki Subs managed to sub 5 episodes of this, but then they suddenly stopped. I really like this anime and would love to see it fully subbed. But most people refuse to see it for what it really is. And since it takes place in Greece and you guys are also a Greek subbing group, I thought maybe you would like to consider taking this as a project. If you don't want to, that's perfectly fine. I won't push it. But at least think about it. I'll be happy if you take this anime up.
